The Dyersburg First Cumberland Presbyterian Church is seeking one or more persons to be responsible for and to build upon the dynamic music ministry we have enjoyed for many years. In the past this has been one position with a competitive salary, but we are considering splitting these responsibilities into two or perhaps three part-time positions. This decision will depend upon the candidates and the gifts God has given them.Responsibilities
Directs the Chancel Choir for the Sunday morning traditional worship service.
Directs the Praise Team/Praise Band for the Sunday evening contemporary service.
Directs the Youth Choir, Praise Band, and Drama Team for seventh through twelfth grades and oversees the annual Youth Choir Tour.
Directs/Coordinates music for special services such as cantatas, Christmas Eve, Holy Week, Easter, etc.
Oversees all children's choir ministries.
Oversees the handbell ministry of the church.
Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in music.
Intermediate level piano skill preferred.
Experience preferred but not required.
