Ginger Creek Community Church is located in the western suburbs of Chicago in Aurora, Illinois. Ginger Creek is a church of about 1,200 and we're searching for an engaging and gifted leader skilled in leading worship to join our arts staff.
A qualified candidate must have significant experience shepherding large teams of volunteers and leading compelling worship experiences. A proven track record in developing high-level leaders is a must.
List of Responsibilities:
Build, oversee and nurture teams for vocal & band, special music and worship leading.
Meets regularly with team of worship leaders and is comfortable delegating leadership responsibilities to this high-level team.
Coordinate spiritual development and skill training for worship team.
Communicates with worship team members about individual involvement and progress.
Serves as primary music director: directs rehearsals and coordinates vocal and band members.
Create, arrange and distribute musical lead sheets. Write, transcribe, arrange and produce music for services and special programs.
Helps develop overall vision for arts ministry with team of staff.
Active contributor to the programming team.
Oversees building audio and video (including auditorium)
Serves as technical director: leading production team and coordinating production & technology for weekend services.
Assists in coordinating special ad-hoc video projects with freelance video staff
Actively engaged in the creation and development of creative elements for weekend services

Every artist and technician comes to rehearsal having been properly communicated to by their leader.
Every artist and technician comes to rehearsal having properly prepared.
More and more artists are being baptized and joining small groups.
Every leader has an apprentice.
The M&PD will meet 1-on-1 with their top level coaches and leaders once a month.
The weekend services are executed with only minor mistakes.
All broken or damaged equipment has been repaired or replaced in a timely manner.
The Arts schedule is full and includes new artists are serving.
