Job Description:
Responsible for campus outreach and developing the college campus ministry at the University of Maryland, College Park. Must have 3-5 years proven campus ministry, small group and discipleship experience. The candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal/pastoral counseling/conflict management skills. Experience in running, training, managing small groups and in multiplying them. Must be able to work interdependently with diverse team and able to manage many tasks simultaneously. It is important for the candidate to be able to recruit, train and manage volunteers. Faithfulness, humilty and teachability are a must. Administrative skills would be a plus. A seminary degree is not required.
Compensation is dependent upon experience and is comprised of approximately 50% or more support raising and a partial subsidy from the church. Full medial (PPO), dental, 401k (matching up to 5%), minimum 2 weeks vacation plus holidays is included in the benefit package.
