Job Description:
Two small rural churches are seeking a part-time or 3/4 time minister who is spirit filled and has a love for Christ and His word. The candidate must be committed to serving Christ and Christ's church, as well as having the ability to teach, inspire, encourage, strengthen, counsel and guide individuals and familes in their spiritual growth and walk with Christ. Candidates must also have a proficient knowledge of scripture. Pastoral duties would include preparing and delivering a weekly sermon, accompanied by a short children's service. Duties would also entail performing marriages, baptisms, christenings, and funerals. We are looking for someone who is energetic, motivated, passionate, and who possessess a servant's heart. Candidate does not have to be UCC ordained, but must be willing to seek standing with the association.
