Job Description:
Otterbein Church is looking for a self-motivated leader with a passion for preschool and elementary age children to oversee and lead our Children's Ministries (currently 250+ children). The ideal candidate will have: 1) a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; 2) a passion and clear vision for ministry to children from birth through grade 5; 3) a commitment to a large group/small group philosophy of ministry (Promise Land, Rethink 252, etc); 4) strong leadership abilities; 5) effective relational and communication skills with children and adults; 6) skills in adult staff recruitment, training, and development; and 7) a desire to work as a team with other pastoral and ministry staff. Otterbein Church is a progressive purpose-driven church located in south central PA and has an average worship attendance (3 services) of 800.
